Pocket Casts Forums Support Lock screen fast forward button Lock screen fast forward button travisforfamily Member J11:12 pm the lock screen fast forward button has been replaced by the play back speed button on the lock screen in android. Normally, if I pull my phone out of my pocket while listening, theres a minimal set of controls on the lock screen that let me play/pause, jump ahead, etc. Swipe between the tabs to quickly switch your view from the Now Playing screen to the show notes, or swipe again to check out the chapters (if they’re available). Show notes can be just as important to a podcast as the audio itself. The Always-On-Display can also be swiped to reveal the controls, but on mine this seems to require a double tap on the clock first, which is annoying. Not really sure if it's an Android problem or their issue but either way it worked as a fix for me. Here are all the shiny new things you’ll find in Pocket Casts 7.6: Tab Layout. If the podcast is playing, then no swipe is required and it shows by default (instead of the clock). What could be causing this?Įdit: I've realized the playback was showing on the lockscreen, it was just not obvious because of Samsung's facewidgets, noted by user Finger-flakes, which require you to swipe left/right the clock to reveal the paused podcast controls. I have all notifications and lockscreen notifications enabled for the Pocket Casts playback. Pocket Casts is the worlds most powerful podcast platform, an app by listeners, for listeners. Annoyingly, Pocket Cast play controls disappears from the lockscreen when I pause, even though I have the option "Hide playback notification on pause" unchecked under settings. I have pocketcasts and thought the same thing, but on your lock screen if you swipe from right to left it should be there. Download Pocket Casts and enjoy it on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. I just switched to a new phone - Samsung S10 plus with Android 10.
